About Us
Agricultural Cooperative Vodnjan was founded on 25 September 2008, at the initiative of Vodnjan town and "Agroturist" Association.
Main goal of the Cooperative is to improve the agriculture of Vodnjan area, primarily olive growing, and to provide joint representation of members of the Cooperative who wish to promote their products in the marketplace.
Other goals: Provision of raw materials at affordable prices for members of the Cooperative, joint representation in the market (through the production of extra virgin olive oil "brand"), participation at fairs and festivals, production of local varieties of olive seedlings used by Association members and other persons.
The Cooperative has 64 members, mostly family agricultural farms growing olives. Vodnjan town is a member of the Cooperative and one of its founders.
